Live Feed Customizations

Once you have opened your Live Feed link from your gallery settings, you can tailor the display to match your event’s branding and environment.

Photo Customizations

  • Number of Pictures Displayed: Choose how many photos from your gallery will rotate through the Live Feed. You can display anywhere from the 25 most recent photos up to 1,000.

  • Featured Photos: Toggle this on to highlight individual pictures. When a new photo is taken, it will briefly appear full-screen before the Live Feed continues its normal rotation.

Photo Transitions

Customize how your images move and refresh to create the right energy for your event.

  • Cascade: All photos in your grid cycle in a smooth succession, starting from the top left and finishing at the bottom right.

  • Individual: Each photo refreshes one at a time in sequence.

Layout Customizations

Adjust the grid to fit your screen size and event theme perfectly.

  • Auto Layout: Automatically calculates the optimal number of rows and columns based on your screen dimensions.

  • Manual Layout: Disable Auto Layout to specifically choose the number of rows and columns displayed.

  • Background Color: Use the color picker to match your branding, or select from colors already defined in your gallery settings.

Ads

Available on Plus, Pro, and Select plans.

Advertisements allow you to display full-screen slides between Live Feed cycles. Use these to highlight sponsors, promote your brand, or share special announcements.

  • Cycles Between Ads: Choose how frequently an ad appears (e.g., after every cycle or every few cycles).

  • Ads Per Cycle: Decide if all your uploaded ads play in a row or if they rotate one at a time.

  • Ad Duration: Set how long static images (JPEG/PNG/GIF) stay on screen. MP4 videos will play for their full duration regardless of this setting.

Uploading Ads

Upload your advertisements from your gallery settings page (not the Live Feed page).

  • Recommended size: 1,920x1,080px.

  • Maximum file size is 6MB. PNG, JPEG, and GIF files are supported.

Tips & Tricks for Performance

Live Feed is a resource-intensive feature. If you are using a lower-powered device to project the feed, follow these tips to ensure a smooth experience:

  • Limit Mixed Media: Avoid mixing high-resolution video, GIFs, and stills in the same feed if your hardware is lagging.

  • Simplify Transitions: If you are using the "Rebound" layout in your preset, avoid using the Cascade refresh mode, as the rapid loading can be taxing.

  • Increase Delays: Using a smaller grid (fewer rows/columns) and increasing the delay between photos helps the feed load more reliably on weak internet connections.

  • Browser Optimization: If using Google Chrome, ensure "Hardware Acceleration" is enabled in your browser settings (Settings > Advanced > System).

  • Clear Background Tasks: Close other browser tabs and programs on your computer to dedicate maximum resources to the Live Feed.
