Printers for Professionals

Powerful, fast printers

Dye-sublimation printers are more expensive and require a couple of additional setup steps, but if you’re using Simple Booth professionally, they are a worthwhile investment.

They are much faster than consumer printers, with some models printing in as little as 30 seconds. The time savings will be noticeable at busy events. They also have lower long-term media costs, since paper and ink bundles are more affordable over time.

Some models can even cut photo strips automatically.

Using Dye-Sub Printers

Dye-sublimation printers are not built to be AirPrint compatible, so need to be paired with a print server before it will be able to connect to your iPad. Without wireless print server software, your iPad and dye-sub printer will not be able to communicate.

Compatible Print Servers

Be sure the print server you choose is compatible with the printer you own or plan to purchase.
