They are much faster than [consumer printers](/hardware-and-gear/printing/printer-recommendations/printers-for-casual-use.md), with some models printing in as little as 30 seconds. The time savings will be noticeable at busy events. They also have lower long-term media costs, since paper and ink bundles are more affordable over time.
