Updating the App
Update to version 5.0 through the TestFlight app.
Install TestFlight on your iPad.
Accept your TestFlight invitation (already sent to your email).
You can learn more about using TestFlight here.

Reverting to Version 4.0
If you want to return to HALO 4.0 (recommended for live events at this time):
Delete the TestFlight version from your iPad.
Download HALO again from the App Store.
The 5.0 version must be deleted first to prevent crashes when reinstalling 4.0.
Online Dashboard
In your preset settings, a new “Open in new editor” button is available for each preset. Clicking this opens the redesigned settings.
To access the legacy version, click the preset title instead.
Providing Feedback
Your feedback helps us identify issues and refine the HALO 5.0 experience before its full release.
The most helpful feedback includes:
Bugs or errors: Anything that doesn’t work as expected, such as crashes, freezes, or missing settings.
Unexpected behavior: Situations where the app functions, but not in the way you’d expect (for example, layouts displaying incorrectly or settings not saving).
Interface feedback: Confusing labels, unclear icons, or layout changes that make navigation harder.
Feature impressions: What feels improved, what’s harder to use, or anything you’d like to see adjusted.
Performance issues: Lag, long load times, or hardware connection problems.

Do not use at live events
The HALO 5.0 beta is not intended for use during live events. Use it to preview the new settings, experiment with updated tools, and most importantly to provide feedback to our team.
If you choose to use it for an event and encounter issues, follow the instructions above to revert to HALO 4.0.
Before doing so, make sure your Wi-Fi connection is strong enough to re-download the app.
Once beta testing is complete and HALO 5.0 is fully released, you can count on the update to be stable and ready for your events.
