# Thank You Message

The Thank You screen serves as the final touchpoint in the guest experience and gives participants a clear signal that their session is over.

***

#### How it Works

After participants finish [sharing](/customization-guide/experience-designer/post-capture/send-and-print.md) their photos, they tap a button to send their captures and end their session. The app then displays a **Thank You** screen for approximately five seconds before resetting to the start screen.

***

#### Configuration Settings

By default, the message displayed on this screen is: **"Thanks for participating!"**

On supported plans, you can personalize this final message to align with your brand or event theme.

1. **Toggle Enable:** Use the switch to turn the Thank You Message tool on or off for your guests.
2. **Custom Message:** Replace the default text with your own personalized note.
 * **Character Limit:** Maximum 100 characters.

{% hint style="info" %}
Keep your message short and sweet. Since the screen only displays for five seconds, you want to ensure guests can read the entire message before the booth resets for the next person in line.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.simplebooth.com/customization-guide/experience-designer/post-capture/thank-you-message.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
