# Archiving Events

To keep your account organized and ensure the HALO app performs optimally, we recommend archiving events you are no longer actively using.\

Archiving events reduces the amount of data your app needs to sync, leading to faster performance and less confusion for your team on-site.

#### Archiving vs. Deleting

* **Archiving**: Hides the event from your active event list and the HALO app. This is reversible and keeps your data safe.
* **Deleting**: Permanently removes the event and its data. This cannot be undone.

Presets and Galleries are managed and archived separately.
